We understand that plans can change, which is why we have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place. If you need to cancel your trip outside of this timeframe, you will receive a refund for your payment, minus a small cancellation fee. However, please note that if you cancel within 24 hours of departure, your payment will be forfeited, without any exceptions.
In the event that your guide cancels the trip due to inclement weather, we want to assure you that you may be eligible for a full refund. Your satisfaction and safety are our top priorities, and we believe in providing you with the best experience possible.
Your guide will go over a safety speech before the trips begin to show you how to stay in your boat and avoid a preventable spill in the river. Our boats are wide and extremely stable to ensure your comfort and safety.
After thousands of tours, not a single guest has ever experienced a flip or fallen out of our boats.
Our kayak seats have a weight limit of 280 pounds (127 kg) per person. For tandem kayaks, each seat is also limited to 280 lbs.
We have both dolphins and manatees!
Our lagoon is home to a thriving community of bottlenose dolphins, with a resident population ranging from 200 to 800 individuals. These dolphins are born here and choose to spend their entire lives in our beautiful waters. Additionally, we are fortunate to welcome a few hundred more dolphins who visit our lagoon from time to time, resulting in an impressive total of approximately 1,000 bottlenose dolphins in the area at any given moment.
During the height of late summer and early fall, our area is home to an impressive population of over 1,000 manatees. These gentle giants grace us with their presence for a remarkable 10-month span, from mid-February to mid-December.
As the temperature of the lagoon drops below 68°F, the majestic manatees migrate towards the inviting warmth of Florida's power plants and springs. During the months of December, January, and February the area may be graced by as few as 100 of these gentle giants.
